Kate Middleton made a rare public appearance amid her cancer recovery aside Prince William on Tuesday (December 3) morning to welcome a few special travelers into their country.
According to People, the royal pair helped welcome "Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his wife Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani" to the United Kingdom for the first time. King Charles was also present at the "ceremonial welcome" to greet the travelers.
The Prince and Princess of Wales were actually the very first members of the British royal family to ever meet the Emir of Quatar and have more welcome events scheduled throughout the day. While Queen Camilla was not present at the morning ceremony due to a lingering chest infection she's endured over the last couple of weeks, People noted that she will be in attendance for the lunch that follows.
Middleton announced her battle with abdominal cancer in March 2024, and has since been very open about chemotherapy treatments and blessings she holds near and dear to her heart as she attempts to recover. The beloved mother-of-three recently made a full return to royal duties, and is even slated to host her annual carol concert at Westminster Abbey later this month.
