Back Story: The flight was overbooked. They already successfully bought the seat from one passenger, then boarded the rest thinking it was all good. However, they had 4 United employees that needed transports, and therefore asked 4 more passengers, already in their seats, to give up their seat and leave. When no one agreed, names were selected at random. This man refused, and...well.....United messed up.
