LCHS Pet of the Week: Tweedie

Let us introduce you to our NEW Pet of the Week, Tweedie! Our former pet of the week, Maul, was rescued already, which is great news! She wanted us to pass her title on to Tweedie!

Tweedie is unique because she is an orange, female kitty. Did you know that most orange cats are male? Tweedie came to us as a stray the beginning of December and remains here with us today. She can be a bit shy at first and takes a moment to warm up to new people. She is about 2 years old, FIV/FELV negative and current on her vaccines. If you come meet her, you might notice that her hair is pretty thin along her back - this is due to a skin condition she had upon arrival, possibly a flea allergy. No worries though, we fixed her right up and she is now flea free, putting on weight nicely and her hair is growing back wonderfully! She is quite the talkative little girl and wants to be noticed by everyone who walks by... You really can't miss her when you walk in the building! Stop by and meet Tweedie this week!
