Are you getting BOOED too much in your neighborhood? Well, as we close in on Halloween, I felt like this list might be a good reminder of WHY that BOO is happening to you!
First off, let's define the BOO:
If you live in the suburbs and have kids youâve probably been Booed. Itâs when kids drop small goodie bags at your door, then ring your doorbell and run. The age for this is probably 5-9 years old and is always organized the by the Booerâs parents. Is it cute at times? Yes. But is it annoying at times? YES! Thereâs nothing like having someone ring your doorbell at night right when youâre getting you kids to sleep and your kids spring out of bed and run outside to see you rang your doorbell and to check on what goodies they have received. Also thereâs the pressure to then âBooâ those kids back another day, which is even more annoying.
Now... here are those signs the BOO is happening to you!
Your Ring alerts are going off every 10 minutes
Your dog had three heart attacks yesterday
Your have enough âBooâ candy to give it back out on Halloween
You now canât tell if youâre getting Booed or some sort of middle class gang retaliation
Your kids jump out of bed when they hear the Taco Bell commercials
Youâve been âBooedâ so many times you were Booing back till 3 am
Youâre considering just ringing peopleâs doorbells and leaving nothing so they get the hint
Your motion lights are flashing like itâs a rave
Youâre yelling âGet Off My Lawnâ at 11pm at night
You had to disable your doorbell for a good nightâs sleep
Youâre now just letting your kids sleep on the front porch
Youâve spent more on âBooâ Bags then Halloween candy
Don't be the BOO house on your block! You can and should do better... so avoid the BOO and just DO!
